World Cup Winner Natasha “Mo” Hunt Inspires Bluebells Class with Special Rugby Training Session
On Monday, we were incredibly proud to welcome a very special guest to school – England Red Roses rugby player Natasha “Mo” Hunt!
Mo joined our usual coaches, Tom and Jacob, to lead a fantastic training session with the children in Bluebells class. The excitement was clear from the start, and it was wonderful to see the children so engaged and eager to learn.
As a World Cup-winning player, Mo brought a wealth of experience, skill and inspiration to the session. She worked closely with the children on key rugby skills, sharing tips, encouraging teamwork and demonstrating the dedication and determination it takes to perform at the highest level. The children rose to the challenge brilliantly, showing great enthusiasm, resilience and sportsmanship throughout.
It was a truly special opportunity for our pupils to be coached by an elite athlete and to hear first-hand about what it takes to succeed in sport. Experiences like this not only develop skills on the field, but also inspire confidence, ambition and a love of physical activity.
A huge thank you to Mo for giving her time to support our children, and to Tom and Jacob from Gloucester RFC for continuing to provide such high-quality coaching. We are very grateful for this memorable and inspiring visit!
