Family Support / Early Help

In our Federation, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing of every child and family. We understand that sometimes families need a little extra help, and we believe early support can make a big difference.

What is Early Help?
Early Help means offering support as soon as possible when challenges arise — whether at home, at school, or in the community. It is about working together to find solutions before problems become more serious.

What Early Help Can We Offer?

  • Emotional wellbeing and pastoral support for children

  • Behaviour support plans

  • Attendance support

  • Help with friendship and bullying issues

  • Family support through regular check-ins

  • Support with transitions (e.g., starting school, moving to a new class)

  • Referrals to specialist services (e.g., counselling, family support workers)

  • Advice and signposting to community resources

Working Together
We work closely with families and other agencies to ensure the right support is put in place. We believe in building strong, trusting relationships to achieve the best outcomes for children.

Confidentiality
We respect the confidentiality of our families and will only share information with your consent, unless there are safeguarding concerns.

Gloucestershire’s Local Offer

As part of our commitment to supporting all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), we work closely with Gloucestershire County Council and follow their Local Offer.

The Local Offer outlines the support available to children and young people with SEND and their families across the county. It includes information on education, health and social care services, as well as advice on Early Help and the SEND Graduated Pathway.

You can explore Gloucestershire’s Local Offer here:

You can also view our school-specific Local Offer pages on the Glosfamilies Directory:

These pages provide more details on the support we offer and how we ensure all children, regardless of their needs, are included, supported, and able to flourish.
